    Model JW40NVH-ES-02 Serial S1021F001537 I pushed a few buttons/reset/all lite cold
    I was trying to lower the heat setting because the water was to hot - went and saw all lights were lit... tried to push firs the vacation light - nothing happened - then tried one of the other three lights - nothing happened - except the next morning a luke warm shower and the next day a cold shower - will not reset by pushing both buttons as indicated on directions - nothing happens - HELP... can't believe it is not working because I pushed two buttons - to cause cold water -

    If I know this heater, you'll find the instruction manual attached to the heater in a plastic bag... should explain all the lights!

    Otherwise, I need the name brand (ruud, a.o.smith, bradford white, etc.). I need you to confirm that this is a gas unit (propane or natural gas). I need to know about how old... model or serial number may tell you if unsure (on sticker at front bottom 1/3 of heater).
