    Maximum vertical fall distance shower drain to p-trap below it.
    What is the maximum vertical fall distance between the shower drain and the 2 inch trap just below it?

    Hi Tom...

    The maximum length the tailpiece from fixture to ptrap in my area is 24"... anything longer and the velocity of the water could SIPHON the ptrap and cause sewer gasses to enter the home...
