    Mansfield wall hydrant leaking
We had a broken Mansfield 500 hose bib which we replaced with new Mansfield parts including turning knob. But we are getting water leaking from behind the knob.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have a leak from the bonnet packing nut located under the handle on the stem. To stop your leak open the valve 1/4 turn and snug the nut up until the leak quits. STOP! do not overtighten. Good luck, Tom
