I need to locate my main line clean out.

 I know that the city sewer line is behind my home and the water line is in front of my home. My home was built in the 50's. Do I have a clean out? I even know where the pipes come from my bathroom to the ground (single story home with crawl space). How will I know where to dig and how deep to go?

 I'm building a house in Austin and was wondering if someone can tell me the depth a sewer line has to be buried per code... I believe it's 18" but wanted to check. And how far do the clean-outs need to be spaced for a long run from the house to the sewer tap? 100 ft? View more questions Search
