    Low water pressure
    Sprinkler heads don't pop up.had sprinkler guy test pressure appx. 27psi,said it was too low. Talk to friend at water co.told only have gravity pressure.can't boost from city.want to know about boosterpumps,are they noisey,going to run sprinkler early in the morning.could I still have problem due to the city.system seemed to work OK last year,additional zone put in backyard last year.

    You need to install a booster pump on your system and ,no they aren't noisy. Where do you live where the utilities company won't provide a pumping station that will put operating pressure in their water mains? This would simply not be acceptable in any area That I've worked in. Even on a gravity feed system a 100 foot water tower would have about 45 PSI at the ground level. You asked about booster pumps.
