    Leaking Bathtub.
    I bought a condo a few months ago, and my neighbor (who lives under us) says that sometimes there is a leaking through their bathroom ceiling. The strange thing is, it does not leak (or at least she doesn't notice it) when we take showers, only when we take a bath. I do have an access panel behind my bathtub... so any ideas on what I should do would be great!

    The reason that it doesn't leak is because the leak is a small one. When you take a bath the volume of water released, when you drain, plus the head pressure increases both the pressure, the volume and the duration of flow past the leak. With a shower there is no head pressure and the volume released at one time is greatly diminished.
    Run a tub full of water and open up the access panel. Shine a light down at the compression nuts near the trap and locate the leak. My bet is that it's in one of those compression connections and all you need to fix it is a large pair of pliers to tighten the nut with. Good luck, Tom
