Leak under baseboard in finished basement
We have a leak and can see water pooling under the baseboard in our finished basement.
The kitchen sinks/dishwasher are located directly above the room where the leak is. We are certain the water is flowing from the sinks/dishwasher because after using dish washing soap in the kitchen sink, we could see 'bubbles' from the soap in the basement. There is no water under the kitchen sink or dishwasher (we've taken off the service panel on the dishwasher). We have a drainage pipe running behind the wall in line with the leak. Who do we contact first, a contractor, plumber? Can we do anything else?

Hello Helva, it sounds like there might be a broken drainline some where, I would first call a licensed plumber to troubleshoot this problem, then the plumber can give you the best advice as what to do next. Good luck ----zeke----
