Kitchen sink backs up in mobile home
The kitchen sink in our mobile home backs up after about 3-4 minutes of running the water. I have tried putting a snake down the drain as well as a liquid clog buster. After about 6-7 feet the snake hits a junction and can't make the turn and the liquid did break up the clog. What can I do next?
    Thank you, Jim

You have snaked and cleared the horizontal drain in the wall. Unfortunately the clog is farther on down the nline. To get at it you will have not snake from the kitchen roof vent. Put out enough snake to reach the nbase and 15 feet more. Good luck, Tom

Plumbing - 1st floor sink backs up in sink below [ 3 Answers ]

I have a 1st floor kitchen sink directly above a basement sink. When the 1st floor sink is full, it drains quickly and backs up in the sink below - which then drains relatively quickly. No other problems here - the dishwasher drains fine, general use is fine - it's only when there's a full sink of...
