    Hi Ogwab

Installing a new T16 packing set is not usually needed with a symmons tub or shower valve... usually just need to tighten the packing nut. Start by removing the handle and the round finished sleeve and then tighten the packing nut at the stem... should be all that is needed to stop the dripping. If this doesn't fix the issue, remove the packing nut, remove the packing washer and other parts and replace in the same order... tighten packing nut to finish. Reinstall the finish sleeve and handle and you should be all set.

    Good luck!
