    Installin tub faucets
I can not install the deverter knob in my tub correctly. When I turn the hot and cold water and then turn it to the shower there is water still going down the drain and not enough to the shower.

Did you make sure that all gaskets were on the diverter stem? You may have a bad seat behind the diverter stem. Always change the seat when changing the stem.
