You've set the bladder tank at 38 PSI after shutting off the pump and bleeding off the pressure didn't you?
Does the pump shut off at 40 PSI or does it simply hang at 49 and keep on pumping? Have you tried adjusting the springs in the control box already? Did the pump work normally before you installed the control box? If so why did you replacen it? Do you need instructions on how to increase pressure at the control box? Back to you, Tom NOTE: You only have to post once, posting twice won't get you a faster answer.
