    How to remove top of tub drain stopper.
    My tub has a stopper that looks similar to that shown below.

    I can unscrew the bit that sticks up, but the bigger part remains there.

    I hope I'm making sense... I'm trying to remove the whole thing so that I can snake it. The tub has sitting water in it.

    Tom or Mark; am I making enough sense for you to tell me what to do? :o

    Hi Rick... I don't see your pic.

    See if it matches any of my pics. Below.

    The first pic. Is a pic. Of a toe touch type stopper... should just unscrew.

    The second pic. Is of lift'n'turn stopper... just lift and unscrew the screw to remove.

    The 3rd pic. Is a roller ball drain and requires a couple tools to remove... see pic.
