    How long should my pump run to recover pressure
    I'm getting about 1-1/2 min before pump kicks in when running water.

    Depends on two things: 1. The size of your pressure tank. 2. The capacity of your pump.

    As far as the 1.5 minutes issue is concerned, it depends on what is running. Is this an outside faucet (lots of water) or a shower (much less water).

    Can you tell us the size of your pressure tank and what kind of tank it is (manufacturer and model number)?
