    How to locate your well
Purchased a home with a shared well. But, the neighbor that I share the well with nor I know where the well is. The previous owner did not know where the well is either. I have a large tank in the garage with a small electrical pump attached, which I believe is a holding tank type set up. Other then that there is no visible signs of a well on either property, that we can find. Although there is a pipe coming out of the ground that is open at the top, located next to the fence. Not sure what its purpose is either. Other then that we don't know where the well is, the pump, or anything else concerning the well . Any ideas as to how I might locate the well and/or its components?
