    How do I fix a combined faucet mixer and push down shower diverter
    I've included pictures below. When using the shower about 50% of the water still comes out of the pipe and 50% out of the shower head.


    I'm currently descaling it but I think it'll need to be taken apart and cleaned or possibly the whole unit replaced.


    The ring around the diverter pushes down to direct water to the shower. It doesn't stay down but that doesn't seem to matter as the flow stays the same if I hold it down or let it spring back up. To get the water back to 100% through the spout you need to turn the water off and back on again.


    The base of the converter appears to be separate to the rest of the converter so it could possibly screw out?


    Unfortunately I can see no markings on the faucet. Any help's appreciated.

    Remove the chrome cover of the diverter valve by loosening the set screw with an Allen wrench. Then dissemble and clean diverter valve.
