How do I change the element on a Kwikot 150 Litre geyser?
How do we go about changing the element on our Kwikot 150L geyser? It seems to be broken and we thought it may be a lot cheaper to fix it outselves.
Does anyone have any insights into what to do, and specifically, what not to do?

    Hi Van

It should be as simple as shutting off the electric power supply (confirm with electrical tester) and then draining the tank to below the element access door.

Remove the old element and check it out... replace if needed. Refill tank, purge all air through faucets and then (and only then) turn the power supply back on... ;).

    That should do it!
