    How To Clean Vent Pipe
I am fairly certain my vent pipe is clogged. My toilet keeps draining and there is a sewer smell in my bathroom. I have read that to unclog it the vent pipe should be snaked and then flushed out with a hose. Since I don't have a snake, can I skip the snaking part and just blast water down the vent pipe with a hose? If I can't skip the snaking part, how long does the snake have to be and where do I buy one? (I live in a one story house).

The best way to clear clogged vent is to use a snake long enough to reach to your main drain, you can rent one from home depot, good luck.
