How can I check the ejector pump
We are experiencing flushing problems with 2 of 3 toliets in our house and when we usually flush the ejector pump turns on and pushes the waste out, it is not turning on and not sure how to check if we need to clean or maintence it somehow or we need a new one.

Open up the sewer ejector pit. Turn water in one of your tubs feeding the ejector ON and observe the pump. Let it go several pumping cycles. Also, you can take garden hose, turn it ON and fill up the pit using the hose. Make sure there is no debris on the float and/or inside the pit.

When was the last time you cleaned the pit ?
