    Glacier Bay Toilet Gasket
The brand is carry by Home Depot but I am not able to find the part in the store. The part that I need is the gasket that goes between the tank and the base. Toilet is a water saver and is the elongated size. Where can I find the Gasket is about 3" inches in diameter.

This part is called a "spud gasket or washer" (see image) and can be plicked up at any plumbing supply store. A spud gasket will fit on any flush valve no matter who manufactures it. Good luck, Tom

Just goes to show you how much the folks at HD know about their shelf items. This gasket is probably hanging in the same aisle as the toilets and packaged in 2 or 3 configurations, sometimes with all the nuts and bolts needed to replace everything. Remember this if you are ever tempted to ask them for advice.

    Hi all...

Just a heads up for all... they now make spud gaskets in larger sizes to accommodate the larger water ways they introduced on some of the kohler and american standard toilets... ;)

I'm pretty sure the glacier bay toilet will take a normal spud gasket and it should be available at home depot for sure! If not, you may need the larger spud washer... these are usually only found at a plumbing supply store.

Dall29as... let us know what you discover... OK?

    JUST FYI!

Toilet leaking from spud washer/gasket [ 8 Answers ]

I just replaced all the guts of my older toilet including a new spud washer/gasket. When I put the tank back on and fill it with water there is a streaming leak coming from this gasket.
