    Garage Bathroom Remodling
Hi folks! My husband and I are creating living space from our attached garage. ( he starts weeping now! ) We have a toilet drain and a 2" vented sink drain plumbed in the existing bathroom. We are raising the floor about 23inches off the floor slab and want to expand the bathroom to include a shower. In addition, we'd like to put our laundry room adjacent to the bathroom and dump the washer into this drainage as well.
Can we dump all three fixtures (vanity sink, shower, washing machine) into the 2" line or will I have to come up with something else? Could I tie in to the toilet drain after it comes up through the slab? We are just kicking around some ideas!

    Thanks,
    PJ

    Good morning Paula,
"Can we dump all three fixtures (vanity sink, shower, washing machine) into the 2" line"
Yes you may. However the vanity and washer will have to be vented. The shower will be wet vented by the vanity vent. The vanity and washer vents may be revented back and run up as one.
You may not connect anything but the toilet to the toilet raiser.
    Good luck, Tom
