Flushed toilet in front of house and stinky water came out of the one in the back
Last night I noticed that the floor was wet in the back bathroom but didn't realize why. Initially thought leak under sink . When I flushed before bed I noticed that water was coming up through the seal so went out today to purchase new seal and determine not to use that bathroom until fixed.
Tonight toilet was flushed in the front of the house and I had to go to the bedroom and caught a whiff and thought it was my dog. Once in the bedroom the smell was stronger and as I looked in the bathroom there was water everywhere.
Got the water mopped up and have some air freshener but it reeks.
My daughter told me that her toilet had been filling with water and she had to plunge for the last few days (just told me tonight) and we have had slow draining bathroom sinks as well.
I ran the washing machine a coupe of days ago and no issue. I need to run the dishwasher but worried in case in comes up again.
    Any ideas?
I have contacted the City to have them come out and check for blockages on their end as I noticed a month or two ago they were using the suction truck about 5 houses down.
    Thanks

Obvious blockage somewhere. Blockages rarely come and go and a washer puts out a lot of water. Appears the blockage may be after the rear toilet. Is the main drain in the front or back of house? You can try a toilet auger but I would guess pulling the rear toilet and clean from there would be the best idea.

I think your main drain could be plugged up, so if the main drain beyond your house isn't the problem, then it's on you. Got a clean out? I think I would be rooting my main drain to the street from a clean out, or a house vent on the roof.
