    Faucet will not pivot to the left
    Newly installed faucet will not pivot to the left. Stops at the center.

    Wow that's not good! How about a brand name, and model number so we can look it up and offer a few suggestions? Who installed it?

    Are you sure you put it in properly? If it is a 4" single handle you can easily put them in 180* off. The spout would then only work on the back side.

    How far does your new faucet turn to the right side ?

    When you are installing new, single column faucet, you need to place it into the hole on top of the sink, swing spout all the way left and all the way right to determine the center of the swing - then tighten the nut under the sink
