Excessive air in water lines well pump system
There is a lot of air in the lines, but only seems to come when the hot water faucets are turned on. There are two separate hot water heaters, one almost new, and they both do it. There has always been "milky looking" water when you fill a glass from the cold water faucets. What would cause so much air in the water lines. It has done this in the past, but cleared up itself. Now it's doing it even worse than before. The well was dug in 2001 when the house was built.

Is the pump in the well or above ground?
Is the pressure tank painted or galvanized?
Are you using a filter on your system?

Water gets to set in hot water tanks and the millions of little bubbles that causes the cloudy water come to the top, so when you turn on the hot water you get a little burst of air. Is that what you are experiencing? You can probably run a clear glass of water and then watch it for a minute or two as the air comes to the top and the water clears up. Correct?
