Three options... I believe. 1) shut toilet water off and empty bowl of water... using a compact mirror in the bowl, see if you can actually see the comb caught near the top of the integral trap of the toilet. Using a metal coat hanger you may be able to grab it if you can see it. 2) shut off toilet, drain toilet and toilet tank and remove the toilet. Turn toilet over and look inside the toilet... hopefully it is caught right at the outlet of the toilet and will be easy to retrieve (any paper you see is probably the comb caught in the paper).. then re-install toilet. 3) You could also purchase a closet auger and use this to see if you can PULL back the comb through the toilet or force the comb through to the outlet side.

Also, make sure you check to be sure it did not get past the toilet... as a worst case scenario.. you do not find comb anywhere after all this... I would then smash the toilet (just to confirm comb not in my drain line) and purchase a new one... BUT that is worst case!

Yes, hopefully with the comb it will bend to come out.

Most liekly you will have to take the toilet up and turn it upside down and hopefully get to it from there. I droped the pipe that holds the toilet paper in mine once, we could see it but never could get it out.
