Dripping water inlet pressure relief/release valve
I have a pressure relief valve that I can't get to stop dripping. I've tried using plumbers teflon tape (maybe incorrectly) and screwing the bolt out as far as I feel comfortable and in without stripping the nut. I'm wondering if this is a plumbers call to replace it or if I'm missing an obvious fix. The valve comes a couple of feet after the inlet. Not sure who the manufacturer is. I've included a pict to see if that's of help. Should I be torqing this in or just get the thing replaced?

If the pict doesn't get through, it looks like a half baseball coming out of the inlet pipe with a bolt in the middle.
