    Greetings from Sarasota Florida,
I was in Liverpool back in the 40's when I sailed with the Merchant Marine.
Does your faucet drip steady or just a while after you shut it off. If it's a steady drip I'll need a little information. One handle or two knobs? Brand name? How old?
Drip hot or cold? Let me know, tom

Please tell us the brand and the model number of your single handle kitchen faucet, it will be an easy fix to replace the cartridge or the seals, Thanks.

The drip is steady. There are two knobs. It is a Master Plumber faucet. The water drip is cold.

    HiLiverpoollady:

If you are lucky this can be as simple as shutting the water supply off to the faucet (shutoffs below sink), removing the handle, loosening the nut and then removing the stem and washer assembly (or cup washer seated under the stem...

See if you can shut water from below, remove handle and confirm the nut is present. The stem should look like the pic. Below. You will probably need to replace the cup washer and spring (see image).
