Drain plug/ pushdown close, pushdown open
I have a push open/ push close tub drain stopper,
I have turned it about fifty times trying to tighten it up so
It will lower the rubber gasket and make it tight, so when closed
It will hold water in the tub. It seems not to be going up or down
When I turn it. Any suggestions?
    Your friend Paul

    Hey Paul,
You have a touch toe stopper, (see image) Correct? They're not costly so why not simply replace it or is there a reason you want to keep it? Regards, Tom

It's late tonight, and wanted a bath, but can't screw it down to make it seal.
I have number 1, but 1 and 2 look to be parts of same one

I do have the toe push stopper, I just can't get it to screw down to make it seal.
I have turned it to the right about 50 times, did not go down for some reason,
I will replace it tomorrow, just needed a fix for tonight.
    Thanks tom

Good call! For tonight either shower or remove the stopper and jam the drain with wet rags and don't forget the rubber ducky. Cheers, Tom
