    Does a leaking pipe sound resonate?
    Can a leaking pipe sound resonate from another area other then the place it is leaking such as through a shut off valve?

    As with water hammer or seat chatter pipes can resonate through out the entire water system. This is called "sympathetic vibration" and we run into it all the time on service calls. Regards, Tom
