Deep well priming not getting water pressure
I have prime my deep well pump, several times water seems that it is getting into the line but it is not holding pressure at all. The pump is running and only holding at 10 and not at 30 as it should. I have tried everything that I can think of and I am at my end of my rope. Any answers please help me...

When you prime the pump can you fill the impeller cage so it overflows? Or does the water run out? Back to you, Tom

Yes fills to over flowing start pump its goes to 10 lbs, the pressure spikes to 20 plus then falls away never to be seen again on that prime again. Seems like air lock.

How deep is your well and what type and size pump do you have? Could this be a faulty foot/check valve that's operating part of the time? A leak in the suction line? If yoiur well's sucking air them you would lose prime after it began to pump up from the bottom. You almost have to be there to check it out by yourself. Answer me and we'll explore farther. Regards, Tom
