So I've got two questions regarding two toilets and would appreciate any and all help as I can't afford someone to come in at this point to fix it for me.
1. I managed to drop a crystal (decoration) ball into the toilet which cracked the bowl so a chunk of the porcelain just fell off. Luckily the piece was above the water level so I didn't have a gush of water on the floor. But the toilet is obviously now unusable. Can I fix this and how? We have tried putting a bit of silicone (I think that's the right way of spelling it) but I think it's still leaking a bit.

2. The other toilet has a low water problem. It flushes a bit slowly (have to hold the flush down until I hear the water gurgle down) and it fills up very low so 2-3 flushes are sometimes required even after my 3 yr old goes for a poo. How can I fix this?

The first toilet.. shut off the water at the tap just below the toilet. Flush the toilet to drain the tank and make the level go low in the bowl. Dry the bowl, and the little piece, then leave it alone for 15 minutes to make sure its dry. Then use some stuff called PL Premium... its an industrial adhesive... comes in a tube that looks like the silicone tube you have. You can find PL Premium in any hardware store prettymuch. Apply some PL into the hole, and onto the piece, and press it in the hole really well. Wipe any excess PL off the bowl right away... cause when it's dry... its dry. Let it dry for 24 Hours before you turn the tap on and flush the toilet... and of course don't use it between. But you really do have to let it dry for 24 hours... a tube of Pl will cost you six dollars.

The second toilet... could possibly be adjusted... but sounds like it needs a new set of internal mechanics. Probably be the only solution realistically... without having someone in to look at it. Just remember to turn the tap off first if you're going to do any toilet work! Cheers!

Remove tank lid . Inside tank is overflow tube. Water should be 1'' from top of tube.
