Is the leak at a solder joint?

You'll need to turn Off the water at the meter/master shut-off. Then drain the pipes by opening a faucet at the lowest elevation (outside faucet, possibly) Open some sink faucets to aid (lets air into pipes) in the draining process. This procedure will drain the cold water pipes. If your leak is on a hot water pipe, post back.

Get a propane torch & some copper pipe solder & flux. Put the flux around the hole, then heat the pipe & let the solder flow. Unless you get the water out of the pipe, you won't be able to heat the pipe hot enough to melt/flow the solder.

    Cheers, Tom

Pinhole leaks in copper pipe are caused by aggressive water or electrolysis. You had better locate the culprit or you will have more of the same. When we repair pinhole leaks we do not simply patch over the pinholes because we don't know if the section of pipe has more that are hidden. We cut the bad section out and replace it and then go after what caused it. Regards, Tom
