My commodes and showers backed up. Water is in the outside pipe and a snake has not
Helped. Sometimes one of the commodes flushes thouroughly. I need to do this myself because of my budget. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Remove toilet and try to snake the pipe through the closet ring. Use at least 1/2" snake and it should be as long as you can get. If this doesn't help then - and depending on configuration of your house - you will have to go outside, find clean out (if you have any) and snake it through this clean out towards the street. If you don't have clean out and clog is outside, you will have to install one. Back to you. Milo
