    Clogged Toilet
I am having the hardest time with this, so if someone could help ASAP!

I noticed the toilet was clogged so I tried to un-clog it with a plunger. It seemed to work, but now the water fills up extremely high and drains extremely slow. I don't know if it's because the clog is deeper in the toilet or what, but I am completely clueless and DO NOT want to call a plumber if it's easier to fix than that.

    Please help someone!!

OH WOW! I can't help you but I too have recently suffered at the mercy of my toilet... I just had to show you some support! Hold your plunger high! (But not so high that it drips on you... that would be gross)

    Hi guys:

Hey, Stupidtoilet person... ;) Try that plunger again when water level is up high.. try setting/sealing the plunger tight t o bowl and then PULL back more so then PUSh down... that may pull stuff back that is clogging the toilet.

If that does not do it... I would "glove up... *yuck*... and reach into hole in toilet and see if I could feel anything. If I did, I would get a metal coat hanger and try to fish the stuff out (hook the end of hanger).

If that did not do it, then I would run to home supply store and purchase a closet auger (see picture). They are not expensive.. and great tool for these situations.

I also gave you a side view of what toilet looks like inside... may help you to negotiate the toilet trapway with closet auger.

Finally, if that doesn't do it... may need to lift the toilet and see what is in there from underneath... but that would be a worst-case scenario.

Hey, hope that helps you out with this.. let me know how it goes... Mark

You still have something that the plunger didn't get. Purchase a closet auger,(see image) from your local hardware store and run the auger through. Test by flushing a couple of wads of TP. Good luck tom Sorry Mark, I posted right on top of you.
