    Clearing a clogged drain.
I ran a snake to the tub last week and it solved the problem. Nice chunk of hair. Now the tub is clogged again along with the bathroom sink. I tried the snake again and it didn't work. Should I try the clean out next?

You have probably pushed the tub clog deeper into the drain.

In this case, the clog is at, or past, the point where tub and sink connect in one, common pipe. You will need a longer, and more powerful snake to get to it. This connection may be several feet away. It is going to be challenging to get to it through tub clean out (overflow). You will have better chances getting to it using sink drain. Remove P-trap and enter the drain through the Sanitary Tee under the sink. Use 3/8" snake. After you unclog the drain, run lots of hot water to flush the debris from drain.

    Hope that helps
