    I can't move the moen cylinder to remove the cartridge (I've broken 2 of the inserts
    I can't move the moen cylinder (I've broken 2 inserts that come with new cartridge) to loosen it!!

    Purchase a Moen cartridge puller.

    I assume you have removed the retaining clip.
