The blower unit that sits on top is running constantly 24/7.
The blower unit is running continuously and will not shut off. It looks like the wires run down inside the unit to two different electrical regulator or thermal coupler devices. How can I determine if one of those devices is bad? It is the State Select Gas hot water heater model PR650NOVT.

    Hi Tim

First, unplug the blower unit and wait 5 minutes and then replug the unit in...see if the unit resets...;)

It is a power vent water heater, Bob. These water heaters are notoriously difficult to troubleshoot. If pulling the plug and resetting the blower unit doesn't work then the only real next advice is for Tim to contact State industries directly. State industries have a great tech. support group and will resolve the issue a lot faster than we can here!!

Tim can contact them here: http://www.statewaterheaters.com/contact.html
