    Bathtub
I have one knob and one spout for hot/cold water to enter the tub; and NO visible screws attaching/securing them. The spout now leaks - it started as a very minor drip which has over 2months grown to a majorly flushing pour. With no screws for me to tighten how do I inexpensively remedy this?

We have no idea as to what you have. Brand? Picture? Probably a cartridge but we need more info.

This is a bathtub faucet leak. I was thinking a simple screw tightening would fix it but the faucet in the tub has no screws. The leak has grown from a tiny drip to a much larger flow. I will get pictures loaded if necessary.

According to your info, you have a mixer type valve. There are many of them available, rarely any parts interchange. Your second posting tells nothing. "but the faucet in the tub has no screws. There are some, under the knob or escutcheon, you just haven't found them. You can't find a name? Round knob? Handle? Without a name, we are just guessing. Post a picture.
