Bath tub won't drain and not likely clogged
Bath tub suddenly stopped draining completely. Removed the trip lever assembly and still would not drain. Don't believe it possible to any type of clog as worked fine yesterday and sudden stop. We did just have a snowstorm but temps are not that low. How do I know if the draining pipe is frozen of if there is some type of clog?

    Hi Ankit

Remove that trip lever assembly again and plug the overflow pipe with a wet rag. Fill the tub with 2 inches of water and then while you hold the wet rag in the overflow pipe have someone use the plunger to try and unclog the drain....the pull UP is more important than the push...;)

Try this a number of times....should see some kind of result.
