    Bath tub spout, diverter replacement
I would like to replace the diverter or spout in my bath tub.

The original is the slip on type with a hex screw at the back.

The new one is threaded, is there an adapter I can use to make it work ?

Yes, you can solder on a 1/2" male adapter. Make very sure that the spout will make up tight to the tile before you cut and solder. It would be a lot easier and simpler to change that spout for a slip on type but that's just my opinion. Regards, Tom
