I am unable to get anything more than 20# pressure on my well.
I have plenty of water as I can physically look down my well and see it. I also took fishing line and sinker and let it down... plenty of water. We have a very high water table in Sringfield. My well is only about 20 - 40 ft deep. I have changed out my pressure switch twice in my attempt to fix it... each time it was a Square D 30-50. I have disassembled the pressure switch 1/4' piping it connects to to see if there were any blockages. I switched out the actual water pump last night and still no effect. As soon as I flipped the pressure switch lever the pressure goes immediately to 20# and stops. When I open the valve after the bladder I can hear and feel the pump running. It may drop to 12# but it eventually will get it back to 20#. I installed a new Pentair 1/2hp 2wire 230V pump. The only oddity is when I open the valve in front of the <1yr bladder tank just a trickle of water comes out. I would think the tank would empty quite a bit. I have checked the bladder valve and I have 28# of pressure when the system is turned off. No water leakage from the valve. Very poor pressure throughout the house with only 20# present. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thank you!"

I'm sorry I replied in the wrong space... Only 1 pipe from the well to the pump. Spoke to a plumber yesterday and he said it would be expected for the bladder to be empty since I'm not getting the necessary 28# of pressure to fill the bladder.
