Adding and moving DWV on concretete slab
I want to rearrange an existing half bath, in order to turn it into a full bath, and the neighboring room into a laundry room. It is a concrete slab construction. And it is a newer addition to the buildingmaybe 10 by 15 feet total.

So I have some basic questions for starting. Can you add to the DWV at the foundation walls? What about rebar? See sketch below toilet back and sink are on the partition wall and while that makes me thankful that the DWV may not be in the foundation it doesn't make for an easy layout for a tub shower though. The house is in escrow set to close around June 1st.

    Brian,

Now this may look like a plan to you but it looks like computer binary code to me.
Can you make a drawing and attach it to your next post. Don't sweat the rebar. They use wire mesh under the pour. Show me the fixture layout, the vent placement, where you want to install a washer stand pipe, (will there be a laundry tray?) what you wish to add to make this a full bathroom. Tub or shower? And all the details and measurements that you have. Cheers, Tom
