Basement washer drain connection to existing floor drain

 I am on city service. I would like to connect my basement washer drain into the existing floor drain (3" line). I cut the line about 3 feet down from floor trap and installed a 3x2inch y. This existing floor drain takes a 45 turn about 6" down from where I cut it. The 2 inch will drain the washer ....

 Hello everyone. I am going through kitchen renovation (bless my heart) and adding a kitchen island. The island will have a small bar sink. My main sink drains into the main drain pipe inside kitchen wall and I will not have access to tap into that. I know mostly how to drain kitchen... 
Vent pipe turned into drain pipe and drain pipe into vent pipe

 I recently began to remodel my laundry room. I wanted to move the washing machine 3 ft from its current spot. When I removed the sheet rock I found that the vent pipe is between the current washing machine drain and where I am moving my washing machine. I wanted to avoid breaking into the slab....
