    4500w to a 5500w heating element
Is it OK to use a 5500w heating element instead of a 4500w element? Its hooked to a dual 30amp breaker and the elements are 240v. There are two in my heater.

Although I don't know why you would want to up the wattage on the elements it would work. Would you care to explain why? Back tom you. Tom

I bought the wrong elements by mistake and was just curious to whether I could safely use them.
