2 inch adapter for lav sink?
I'm putting in a pedestal sink but the old lav p-trap goes from the standard 1 1/2 inch or 1 1/4 inch (tailpiece connection) to a 2 inch female pipe thread connection. A piece of galvanized 2 inch pipe (male threads) then connects to the drain in the wall.

All of the nice chrome drains these days are all 1 1/2 inch. Does anyone know of a 2 inch adapter I could use??

    No prob Tommy,
Ask for a PVC male 2" IPS,(iron pipe size)X 1 1/2" compression adapter and connect a 1 1/2" chrome "P" trap with a 1 1/2 X1 1/4 gasket to connect up the 1 1/4" tailpiece. If the trap tail's too short then use a 2 X 1 1/2 female adapter and extend out with a piece of 1 1/2" PVC. Glue a PVC 1 1/2 PVC X 1 1/2" compression adapter on the end of the 1 1/2" stub out to install the chrome trap to, Good luck, Tom
