    Vectors
    My question is that while resolution of vectors do we have to take only magnitude of vector into account for example while resoluting (-5) do we have to take only 5 into accunt

    I don't understand what your question is. When resolving a vector into x- and y-coordinates you have to take both magnitude and direction into account.
