The Earth is massive compared to most Earth-based objects, making acceleration due to Earth’s gravity approximately 9.8 m/s2.
Using the equation, F = m X a and the value of 10 m/s2 for the acceleration of gravity, what is the force acting upon a 70 kg person?

You have the value for 'a' and the value for 'm' - just multiply them together to get the value for F:

The answer will be the force in units of Kg-m/s^2, which is equivalent to newtons.
