    1.the focus of the path is on the plane

    Can someone solve

    divyasharma, Curlyben was right to post that announcement. We really are here to HELP you, not to completely do your homework for you. The red "No" feedback should be reserved for answers which are factually incorrect, not just because it wasn't the answer you were looking for.

    Now, having said that, I'll be happy to give you some assistance on this problem. Unfortunately, however, it's not very clear what you mean. I'm assuming there's a diagram to go with the problem? Can you please explain the drawing a little more clearly or, if possible, scan it? I'm not sure what you mean when you say "and a slant distance d apart".
