    Potential Energy
Which box has more potential energy:

Box A: has been lifted straight up off the ground 2 feet

Box B: has been pushed up an incline plane that has a height of 2 feet

    # A. Box A has more PE
    # B. Box B has more PE
    # C. They have the same PE
    # D. Impossible to tell

PE depends on height, mass, and the acceleration due to gravity.

If the mass is the same and if the experiment is carried out on earth ( g = 9.81 m/s) :) , I'll choose answer # C.

If both boxes have equivalent masses, then by the equation E(p)=mgh (where e(p) is potential energy, m is mass, and g is gravity) then both height, mass and gravity are the same , so answer C.
