    Egg Drop Experiment
Using 40 plastic drinking straws, tape and rubber bands ONLY, I need to create a device that can protect an uncooked egg from breaking while being dropped from the top of the bleachers at school.

Eggs are remarkably robust. I read about dropping eggs from a dive bomber onto grass. The grass was necessary because dropping onto concrete is a sure way to crack an egg.

The basic idea is to make sure the straws compress uniformly when the egg hits the ground.

    Good luck.
