Will these workouts harm my injured knee?
My knee is swollen and stiff with little range of motion. One doc thought it was a bacterial infection and another thought it was bursitis and I have to go to a joint specialist at the end of Feb. to confirm. He gave me anti-inflamitories, which has made it easier to work out my knee. 2 months is a long time to wait and I want to start the therapy process on my own at home now. So far, all I really do is use my stationary bike and where you lay on your stomach and hang the bottom half of the leg off the edge of a bed to try to extend the knee.

My question is if this is a bad idea. Do I risk making it worse? Will I do an exercise wrong without a therapist's supervision? Does it matter how long I do the exercises? Could there be something else wrong with my knee where I should stay off it and therapy could make it worse? (like an infection?) I want to keep exercising in general- is it bad for my good knee (which also had ACL surgery 9 years ago) if I walk for about an hour daily since I favor that leg heavily?

Ab Workouts [ 1 Answers ]

I've been working out for a majority of my life and have just recently noticed my abs are starting to look a little different. My top 4 abs seem to be protruding slightly more than the others and I was just curious as to whether or not that means I've been working my top more than my bottom. If you...
